Social Activities Ministry

This is a ministry of hospitality. We organize many social activities which help build "community". It is the responsibility of this committee to encourage parishioners who are willing and able to chair and organize the various activities we promote. They include, from October through May on the 2nd and 4th weekends, coffee and donuts after the 8 AM Mass; a picnic in November, a luncheon in February, or a celebration for St. Patrick’s Day, etc.

We enjoy Soup Suppers after the Friday evening Mass during Lent; the Lady of Mount Carmel Feast Day dinner in July. We are called upon to host receptions as they are neded. We also have a group who play bridge once a month on the 2nd Thursday.

We always seek additional people to share this ministry. Being part of this committee is an excellent way to meet others and become a valuable member of the parish.
