Parish Nurse Ministry

The Parish Nurse Ministry integrates the practice of faith with the practice and knowledge of nursing. The goal of parish nursing is to assist in the achievement of wholeness of body, mind and Spirit, with a commitment to the healing ministry of the Church.

The Church includes both the preaching of the gospel and the whole person healing. “Preach the kingdom of God and heal the sick” Luke 9:2.

Parish Nurse ministry emphasizes the role of faith and of prayer in the healing process.
