MISSION STATEMENT
We, the People of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a Catholic community united by Baptism and by the presence of the Holy Spirit among us, endeavor to live each day our Christian commitment and to build the Kingdom of God. We challenge ourselves:
- To be a hospitable faith community
- To create a worshipping and celebrating spirit among us
- To reach out in caring service to one another
- To spread the Gospel and preach the Kingdom through personal witness, example and education
- To encourage each parishioner to active participation in our parish life
- And to welcome all of our parishioners, both year-round and seasonal
So challenged, we pray that Mary, the Mother of Jesus, and our patroness under the title of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, will guide, protect, and keep us from all harm. May she direct the efforts of all who wish to build this new faith community. We welcome your participation.
