CANTORS

One or two singers can effectively guide and proclaim the Word of God in the psalm sung between the readings. These are the two most important things a cantor can do in order to enhance worship. The words of Saint Augustine should not be forgotten: “Do not allow yourselves to be offended by the imperfect while you strive for the perfect.”

Practice for the cantors with Jody Wolters, the Director of Music, occurs on Wednesdays at either 11AM or 5:30PM.

Being a Cantor does not need to be an every week commitment, although several weeks per month is the norm.
