Our Lady of Mount Carmel Men's Club

The mission of the OLMC Men’s Club is to serve the needs of the parish as a Catholic faith community in the Carmelite Tradition. The OLMC Men’s Club sponsors activities to provide opportunities to enhance the spiritual life of the men of the parish through faith sharing, spiritual companionship, prayer, retreats, adult education and special lectures; to promote expanding and strengthening community through a variety of social activities; by sponsoring and supporting activities organized by the parish.

The Men’s Club meets monthly on the third Tuesday morning to welcome new members and to discuss various topics and plan activities. The Men’s Club has sponsored a one-day men’s retreat for the past several years at a local retreat house. A Good Samaritan Ministry provides transportation, messenger, counseling, and reference services for the parish. We provide a helping hand whether it is around the house or around the parish. Prayer/sharing groups and talks on spiritual topics are on the agenda for future activities, as are social activities such as golf and baseball outings, fishing trips and dinners.
