Our Lady’s Club
Our Lady’s Club was formed to enhance the spiritual and social lives of the women of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It’s goal is to assure that all the women of the parish feel welcome and are encouraged to participate in various parish functions.
Our Lady’s Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month over lunch. While “brown bagging” it, the women may plan social activities, listen to guest speakers, or on occasion receive instructions on a relevant subject.
The club, together with the Social Activities Ministry, raises money for the Our Lady of Mount Carmel building fund by promoting raffles, dinners, fashion shows and other activities. The ladies prepare meals, set up decorations etc. for various parish activities.
In all these activities the spiritual aspect of “service” is emphasized along with the social benefit in interacting with others.
